Havana - Attractions

Havana is a place with many tourist attractions. Depending on your interests, you can choose between natural, cultural, historic or entertainment attractions. Following are some of the most popular attractions that shouldn’t be missed, no matter of your interests:
National Aquarium of Cuba – shows creatures from the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. There are turtles, eels, sea horses, corals and dolphin shows.
Columbus Cemetary – one of the largest cemetaries in the world. It is believed that Columbus have been buried here in the late 1500s.
Morro Castle – fortress from 16th century from which El Morro guarded Havana's harbor from Caribbean pirates and other armies.
The Capitol Building – copy of the one in Washington, D.C., served as Cuba's Senate and House of Representatives in history.
Old Havana – history heritage site with a large number of beautiful old buildings.
Museum of the Revolution – former palace of dictator Batista, today museum of Cuban history.
Ernest Hemingway Museum – museum dedicated to the famous writer who loved Cuba.
Arms Square – the oldest square of Havana, paved in wood cobblestones.
Plaza of the Revolution – site of Fidel Castro’s May day speech and large illuminated face of the Che Guevara.
