Old Medina

Medina is a historic district of Marrakech. Djemaa El-Fna is the main square of the city and it is situated in Medina. It is centre of all main happenings in the city and it is surrounded by dozens of labyrinths of traditional bazaars and small local stores.
Medina is also home to many other city’s attractions – riads, Rue Bab Agnaou, Royal Palace and Saadian Tombs.
Riad is a typical Moroccan house with internal courtyard. Similar houses are a great places to stay and feel the charm of Islamic culture and tradition.
Old palaces, like Royal Palace of El-Badi Palace are ’must see’ attractions of Marrakech.
Kasbah is an area in Medina that is much different then other parts of the old city. It is cleaner, safer and has a different charm. It has special little bazaars, called souikas, fine restaurants, hotels and riads for stay.
