Tourist Attractions in Melbourne

It is ’Mission imposible’ to choose few city attractions if that city is Melbourne. This metropolis has so much to offer to its visitors. These are some of the most interesting Melbourne attractions:
Federation Square is the heart of Melbourne. The best city restaurants, cafes, shops and exhibition spaces are located here.
Royal Exhibition Building, which was built in 1880’s and is one of just a few buildings builted in that period that still exist. This building was the first sitting of the Australian Parliament and nowadays it is sitting of Victorian government.
Eureka Tower is the tallest residential building in the world. Eureka Skydeck is located in this tower, and it is the highest observation deck in southern hemispere.
Old Melbourne Gaol is one of the oldest buildings in the city of Melbourne. It was first Victoria’s prison. Night tours are available for tourists four times a week.
Giant Sky Wheel comprises 36 gondola carriages, each for 6 persons. It has 50 meter peak, and allows fantastic panoramic views of the Melbourne.
Gasworks Arts Park is a art centre in a beautiful park. In this centre, there are more than 300 outdoor artworks, 3 gallery spaces, 2 theatres and few workshops.
There are many other attractions in Melbourne, and it is recommended not to miss some of following attractions: Melbourne Zoo and Aquarium, Melbourne Museum, 234 Fun Galore, Funfields, Intencity, State Library of Victoria and St Paul’s Cathedral.
