Drive by marshrutka in the downtown of Moscow will cost you as low as $1. Taxis are not cheap and it is recommended to use it if you’re in a hurry or getting late somewhere.
There are also many hop on hop off buses in Moscow. Most of them operate within downtown, but you can arrange some that drive to the tourist attractions dozen of kilometers from downtown.
