Prague is the capital of Czech Republic and one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. It is famous primarily for its history and its district of the old town.
Buildings in the old town of Prague date back from 1091., but the most beautiful buildings date back from 13th century. There are dozens of attractive historic places in this part of Prague. You shouldn’t miss Old Town Square, Church of Our Lady and Old Town Hall, which dominates among other beautiful old buildings. Besides Church of Our Lady, there are other 5 notable churches: Church of St Nicholas, Church of St James, Church of St Gall, Church of St Giles and Church of St Martin in the Wall.
Prague is famous for 3 medieval palaces: Kinsky Palace, Palace of the Lords of Kunštát and Clam-Gallas Palace. Both of them are located within old town of Prague. There are also two beautiful old streets where you will feel charm of old Prague: Celetna Street and Charles Street.
Clementinum is the largest complex in Prague after Prague castle. It was a Jesuit college during 17th century.
Beautiful views of a Prague across Vltava can be seen from Knights of the Cross Square, located in front of the Old Town Bridge Tower.
