Island Lido

Lido is the separated island and the beach of Venice. Lido is one of the most important beaches in Italy, due to its aristocratic charm. It is also one of the best beaches on the Adriatic Sea.
It is a small place where bars and restaurants offer family atmosphere and great Italian cuisine for its guests. Lido can be reached by local transportation services.
Some of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Venice can be found here. Almost the whole city can be seen across the lagoon. Small canals, historic buildings and beautiful churches can be also found in Lido.
Lido is also famous for its Movie Festival, which is held between the last week of August and the first week of September every year. Thomas Mann wrote A Death in Venice here. Some of the scenes of few famous movies were also shot here.
